Build the layer that makes robots actually work

Robot deployment in the field

What you'll do

Go on-site with customers — strawberry farms in Salinas/Watsonville, restaurant kitchens, manufacturing floors in Mexico and South America — and get robots working.

You'll set up hardware, debug in the field, iterate on integration, and bring the deployment back as a repeatable playbook.

This role is the tip of the spear: what you learn in the field becomes the system everyone else runs on.

You probably have

  • Hands-on robotics experience (ROS, manipulation, real hardware — not just sim)
  • Willingness to travel ~40%+ to customer sites
  • A debugging instinct that doesn't quit when the robot is down and the customer is watching
  • Bias for shipping over polishing

Bonus

  • Experience with foundation models for robotics (Cosmos, VLAs, imitation learning)
  • Agricultural, food service, or manufacturing domain experience
  • You've deployed something ugly that worked
